Year 10 students have made a confident start to this year and are coping well with the challenges presented by Key Stage 4. In this important stage, students will have controlled assessments throughout the course as well as external linear examinations at the end of the course. To support all students, we make information, advice and guidance a priority. We are therefore very pleased to invite you to an essential Year 10 Partnership Evening in the KS4 Hall on Tuesday 29th September 2015 from 6.00 to 7.00 p.m.
During the evening, I will outline how we will be monitoring your child’s progress at Key Stage 4, as well as what will be put in place to ensure your child secures good progression opportunities in the future. There will also be a chance to hear from the Heads of English, Maths and Science.
Mr O’Mahony, Director of Achievement and Progress for Year 10, will outline strategies to help your son/daughter succeed at Key Stage 4. After this, there will be a chance to ask questions.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 29th September to ensure that, by working together, we can support your son/daughter to make the very most of every opportunity in the next two years.
