Year 11 students have made a confident start to this year and we hope that most are coping well with the challenges presented at such an important time in Key Stage 4. Over the next two crucial terms, students will have controlled assessments in some courses and examinations will start in May 2016. To support all students, we make information, advice and guidance a priority. We are therefore very pleased to invite you to a Year 11 Partnership Evening in the KS4 Hall on Tuesday 22d September 2015 from 6.00 to 7.00 p.m.
During the evening, we will outline how we will be supporting your child to ensure they make good progress in Key Stage 4, as well as what will be put in place to ensure your child secures good progression opportunities in the future. There will also be a chance to hear from the Directors of Assessment and Progress.
Ms Wills, Director of Achievement and Progress Year 11, will outline strategies to help your son/daughter succeed at Key Stage 4. After this, there will be a chance to ask questions.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 22nd September 2015 to ensure that, by working together, we can support your son/daughter to make the very most of every opportunity in the next two terms.
