Teacher Training

We are committed to working in partnership with trainees and partner schools to provide highly trained teachers for the local community and beyond.

NELTA is a school-centered ITT provider which works with many schools across multiple boroughs. Beal High School is the lead school.

Many of the schools NELTA work with are outstanding and they include both primary and secondary schools, independent schools, boys and girls grammar schools, faith school, comprehensive schools and special schools. This gives you access to a range of training experiences.

NELTA is thrilled to announce that we will be able to offer the PGCE qualification, accredited by Sussex University, alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for all courses starting in September 2025. With NELTA’s outstanding provision and current standing of Sussex University as one of the top 10 providers in Education nationally, our partnership will provide very high quality training.
